Naphtali Ukamwa

Team Lead

Naphtali is the Firm’s Lead Partner. He leads the Dispute Resolution and Corporate Practice Team. His core areas of expertise and specializations include Public International Law, Banking and Finance, Commercial Litigation, Telecommunication, Consumer Protection, Regulation, Domestic and International Trade, Financial Crime, Shareholder Disputes, Constitutional Law, Aviation, Environment, Energy, Electricity and Natural Resources, Corporate Finance and Enforcement of Maritime Claims. Naphtali holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from University of Lagos and B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. Naphtali cut his teeth in Nigerian legal practice (litigation and court room advocacy) under the tutelage of Rickey Tarfa SAN& Co and Pentagon Partners LP. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and the International Association for Energy Economics. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Azmon Law Review. Naphtali has pioneered legal development solutions that are highly ranked by international institutions such as the World Bank. With publications in over 15 countries, Naphtali cuts his teeth in international legal research and consultancy. He is privileged to have participated in legal teams that resolved diverse complex legal issues involving multilateral corporations and local companies in Nigeria.

Anosi Ilegogie

Head, Property Services

Anosi heads the Property Services Department and she is a member of Policy Advisory Team and Dispute Resolution Team. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) Nigeria Branch. She obtained her LL.B from Babcock University and her BL from the Nigerian Law School. She is an astute and detailed lawyer passionate about litigation and conversations on health law. Her practice areas include Real Estate, Health, General Contracts, Evidence, Entertainment, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Foreign Investment, Criminal and Corporate Law. As a Legal Practitioner, Chartered Arbitrator, Legal Researcher and Legal Writer, she has exposed herself to much learning and knows how to apply her knowledge and skill to achieve the best results for clients.

Ayoola Mustapha

Partner/Head, Commercial Services

Ayoola heads the Commercial and Compliance Department of the firm. She is an LLB graduate of Law with Criminology from the University of Wales, Bangor and holds an LLM in International Law with International Relations from the University of Kent, Canterbury. She also holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and as such a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. She is an associate of Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and a member of the International Centre for Arbitration & Mediation, Abuja. Aminah is currently active in the LNG sector, having to deal with gas contracts and regulatory compliance with the relevant bodies. She has worked and volunteered side by side with immigration lawyers in London to help those dealing with immigration issues, she went further to also gain valuable experience with the United Nations on Drugs and Crime for a short while, while in Vienna, Austria. She is a legal officer at Greenville LNG and specialises in oil and gas law, mergers and acquisition, property law, corporate governance, International Commercial Arbitration and Commercial Law
